The Social Activies Committee coordinates, publicizes, and encourages activities Though primarily internal, the Committee may also help coordinate activities that reach out into the community. It does seem that there is always food or music involved.
Some of the current activities:
Friendship Dinners are held by an individual or a couple who wants to host a dinner and post a notice on the bulletin board near the entry doors to the sanctuary. The notice should include the host’s name, address, phone number and email, if appropriate, the proposed date and time, and how many may sign up. The host/ess makes the main dish and the guests bring a dish.
Game Night meets to and play Mexican Train Dominoes (a perennial favorite) or other games. Excellent refreshments provided, often some of them home-baked.

The MUUsic Group meets every Monday evening at 7:30 in the Small Dome. In the spirit of old-time hootenannies and good-time jam sessions, this is an informal gathering of musicians, vocalists, and just plain music lovers who want to make or listen to MUUsic, sing, play an instrument, drums, or bang on an upside-down waste basket.
Get creative. Everyone is welcome, regardless of ability or experience.
