Dear Perspective Minister,

On behalf of the Ministerial Search Committee, welcome to our Unitarian Universalist Church of Tampa Congregational Packet. Thank you for choosing to learn about us in depth. I am honored to serve as the chair of the UUCT Search Committee, an outstanding group of seven dedicated Church members, who have worked well together and formed the lasting bond of friendship. Our congregation and Search Committee have spent almost two years examining who we are, how we relate to one another and the minister, and what we anticipate in our ministry. We look forward with great enthusiasm to our new minister.

Through an extensive survey and cottage meetings, plus discussions with individual congregants, committees, The Board of Trustees, our current Interim minister, and the Staff, in addition to digging into historical records, we have grown to know ourselves in ways of great importance to us. Ours is a caring, supporting, loving congregation. The partnership we have with our next minister will help us build on our strengths and on our religious journey as individuals and a congregation.
