Small Group Ministries

Small groups meet monthly for connection and conversation. Groups are autonomous and choose a monthly topic of discussion.

Some groups use the Soul Matters materials in harmony with our monthly worship themes.

What is small group ministry?  Small group ministry is the way we connect, learn, and grow spiritually.  It is the best way to get to know people more deeply.

What do they do?  Small groups of 5-12 people meet monthly to discuss our theme or topic that helps us connect.  Groups also work to improve our community, and we do it together.

How often?  Monthly!  And yes, you can join more than one.  And no, you don’t have to be a member of UUCT but you’re invited to attend Intro to UU.

Is there a commitment?  Yes!  Please be prepared to commit to monthly meetings that will run from October through June, with a summer break.  Then you can recommit in October of 2023.

What else do I need to know?  Small groups agree on covenant.  This is non-negotiable. UU is a covenantal faith, as are our small groups.  Small groups are not therapy groups. There is no fixing, advising, etc.

Interested in attending a small group, or just have some more questions?

Please fill out an inquiry form and we will get back to you!
