FRIENDSHIP DINNERS
http://www.stereoscopic.org/2008/dinner08.jpg Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
Friendship Suppers are back!  You will find a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the lobby.

We are trying to establish the second Saturday of each month as the date for Friendship Suppers. Of course there may be an occasional time when the host(s) will have to pick an alternative date—or when an all church event is held on that date, as in October during the annual pledge drive. But for the most part, we want to make this a regular event on the church calendar.

The host will provide the entrée, and each guest will be asked to bring a compatible item for dinner.  If an emergency prevents you from attending, please be courteous to all: let your host know as soon as possible so another person can fill your seat and complete the menu.

Individuals, as well as couples are welcome.  We will try to include at least two guests or new members at each event, demonstrating that we are truly a friendly and welcoming congregation.

Each month, I will contact the host and give them the names of those coming to dinner.  The host will then contact each guest and assign a menu contribution, along with confirming the date, time and directions.

When you sign up, please note if you are willing to be a host.  Each month, guests will rotate, so you will get to meet different people as the year progresses.

Friendship Suppers are a wonderful way to get to know friends, guests and prospective new members.
